Pan American Billiards and Snooker Association (PABSA) Welcomes Puerto Rico as Newest Member Federation

SAN SEBASTIÁN, PUERTO RICO – The Pan American Billiards and Snooker Association (PABSA) is pleased to announce the official affiliation of PR 8 Ball, Inc. as a member organization representing Puerto Rico. This partnership marks a significant step forward in the expansion and development of Snooker and English Billiards across the Caribbean and the Americas.

The affiliation provides several key benefits, including:

• Sanctioned Competition: Eligibility for Puerto Rican players to participate in PABSA-organized or recognized events such as the Pan American Championships, Q Tour Americas and various Pan American championships.
• Sporting Development: Access to PABSA’s resources for coaching, officiating, and technical standards to further professionalize the sport in the region.
• International Representation: A formal voice for Puerto Rico within the governing body for Snooker and English Billiards in America.

PR 8 Ball, Inc. has already submitted its formal statutes and expressed a steadfast commitment to the growth of the discipline on the international stage. PABSA Latin America Director, Junior Umaña Alvarado, will oversee the integration process to ensure a productive partnership for the upcoming competitive season.
